Most shops will hire you to do the same thing every day. This isn't that shop.

We're a small custom cabinet operation in Seattle in the middle of an interesting pivot — we do high-end cabinetry work and we're building out a veneer processing line to supply cut parts to other shops. That means the work is varied, the problems are real, and you'll actually understand what you're making and why.

We're looking for a carpenter who:
- Has solid experience and knows their way around a cabinet shop
- Is genuinely curious — someone who asks why, not just how
- Can work independently without someone looking over their shoulder
- Takes quality personally

You don't need to know everything. You do need to want to learn it.

We run four 10-hour days, so you get a three-day weekend every week. We think people do better work when they have a life outside the shop, and we've built the schedule to reflect that. We also offer paid holidays — because time off should actually be time off.

We're a small shop, so we can't offer a benefits package. We're straight with you about that. What we can offer is work that's worth doing, a schedule that respects your time, and a place where your skill actually shows up in the finished product.

This is a small team, which means your work is visible and your input matters. If you've ever wanted to work somewhere that treats craftsmanship as a competitive advantage rather than a cost to manage, we'd like to talk.

Send a note about yourself and what you've built to info@seattlemobilebuilders.com Résumés welcome, but a paragraph about your work tells us more.
